Could Donald Trump be a “Trojan Horse” type player of God’s Kingdom ready to get in and execute judgement on a corrupt government and political system? We need to really be thinking and praying about this election. I have some statements and questions. We have to take an open and honest look at supporting Donald Trump with our vote.

I believe most of us believers (and pro-lifers) agree that abortion is wrong and that many would even call it murder. We, as believers, would say that in order to have true, eternal life that we must be spiritually born again.

Many believers and theologians would argue that the discipleship process starts before one is even born again. It is the Holy Spirit that draws us before we are ever saved. We know, according to the Scriptures, that we are saved by faith and that faith comes by hearing the Word of God.

Is Donald Trump also in a discipleship process during this campaign process? Donald Trump is a very rich man, but perhaps recognizing that he is poor in spirit, he has chosen to surround himself and seek counsel from many God-fearing men and women who are speaking the Word of God to him.

Since the Word of God does not return void, isn’t it reasonable to suggest that through this campaign/ election process, Donald Trump could also be in a discipleship pricess where the Word of God being planted as a seed in his heart and watered by the Holy Spirit is preparing him to be God’s bold mouthpiece condemning the evil and corruption in our government and our nation?
If Trump has in fact committed his life to Christ as some Christian leaders are saying (see link below), then are we choosing to judge and hold past sins against an infant believer still in a process of sanctification? Would we do that to new infant believers in our local churches? If Trump has not made a decision for Christ are we assuming it’s not possible? Is the grace of Christ too weak to save a rich man like Donald Trump? How quick we are to forget the Word…

Then Jesus said to his disciples, “Truly I tell you, it is hard for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of heaven. 24 Again I tell you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.”25 When the disciples heard this, they were greatly astonished and asked, “Who then can be saved?”26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.” (Matthew 19:23-26)

We know America is most likely never electing a “Bible thumping preacher”. We’ve seen Bible believing candidates like Huckabee and Palin come and go. Once those with a liberal far left minded agenda in media and government know your a Bible believing Christian, your toast politically. However, if you study Biblical history you know that God has used all kinds of people for his purpose, some righteous and some un-righteous.

We’ve heard about the Muslim migration in our nation being compared to that of a Trojan Horse of terror from within. Jesus told his disciples that the “kingdom of God is within you”. Could it be that the kingdom of God might be within Donald Trump? Could God use this election process as a discipleship process to humble him and use him to be a “Trojan Horse” type with seeds of the Kingdom planted within him waiting to bear fruit in God’s timing? Why not?
So many believers for so many years have been praying for revival and God’s mercy for our nation. Do we not believe that God is able and could be using a carnal man like Trump to expose the hypocrisy in high levels of our government? God certainly has used some shady characters throughout history. And I’ve noticed throughout history how the church takes a romanticized  view of the people God has used in the past, but we’re somehow more critical of those God uses in the present.
Could it be that believers who choose to publicly slander Donald Trump are unknowingly playing a part in the attempt to abort God’s conceived plan before the gestation process has time to complete and the plan develop to fruition? Could it be that Donald Trump is an unsuspecting “Trojan Horse” that’s anointed of God to bring judgement and clean house in our corrupt government and political system? We should be careful in are criticism just in case lest we speak ill of God’s anointed.

I know he is rough around the edges and has said some horrible things and perhaps done some horrible things. And there may be more videos, arrogant statements, and gaffes to come. Yet, we have seen throughout history, how God has managed to use the unusable with or without our understanding.

9 “As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:9)

In biblical history the Jews often had a hard time accepting the prophets that God had sent. With a refusal to vote for Donald Trump could we be repeating their mistakes?

Consider this when voting this year:
If Trump is elected president he will have four years in office before having to campaign for reelection. The same with Hillary.

The Supreme Court Justices are appointed for a LIFE TERM. This could affect us, our children, and our grandchildren for decades.

  •  One candidate has admitted to appointing Supreme Court justices who will be as liberal as ever usurping states rights, disregarding the constitution, and persecuting the church.
  •  One candidate has promised to appoint more Conservative judges that will uphold the constitution, and have respect for all Americans.

I encourage you to look at the big picture concerning this election. Be open minded and most importantly prayerfully aware of what’s taken place. Understand the times (1st Chronicles 12:32). Don’t just trust everything the professional media tells you. Investigate. Use good sense and reason. May God bless you with spiritual discernment as you seek him on this.

Time To Serve

Hello Westmore Church of God Members! Isn’t the year flying by? Can you believe we have half a year left until Christmas? Things have been really exciting around here at Westmore and time really does fly when your having fun. How can you not be having fun when you’re serving the Lord in the local church? God has called us to serve and He has called us to serve together making a difference in lives for eternity.

Let me just ask. Have you been faithful serving God in the local church? If life has been a drab and you seem to be missing something, then maybe what your missing is an opportunity right there staring you in the face…local church ministry. I want to issue a challenge out there to members in the congregation: Find a place to serve and serve God with all your might! Find someone to serve with! When you serve God with others you begin to develop godly relationships that are fulfilling and bring joy to your life.

Jesus, in Luke 10:1 sent his disciples out to do ministry. He did not send them alone, but He sent them out two by two. In Luke 10:17 it says that the disciples returned with joy. We experience joy when we serve God together. Imagine people in our congregation: Husbands and Wives, Best friends, new friends and people of like interests meeting and serving together! We can make a difference together in our church and our community for Christ.
